I love my Echo devices. I have five of them in my home. And, I actually use them for more than just music. I ask her to remind me of things, set timers, what is the weather, protect my home, and my babysitters can call me through them. Someday when I upgrade my stove I can ask her to preheat the oven from anywhere I am (fancy). Earlier this year I got an email from Amazon about the new Echo Auto that was going to launch in the fall. If you got an invite you were able to purchase one device for $25. I bought two (one being from my boss). It is just like having Alexa in your car working through your bluetooth or audio port. If you have unlimited data this is great. I can listen to all my radio stations (having the skills enabled), and even ask for directions and the weather. I asked last week if it was going to rain and she replied “it’s raining right now” and all I saw was blue sky. Thirty seconds later, torrential downpour. I have never doubted her again. Siri, on the other hand…..grrrrrr……
