“Don’t Let the Bastards Get You Down” by Margo Price is from her new album “Hard Headed Woman” out August 29th. The phrase originates from Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale. Price co-wrote the song with Jeremy Ivey, Kris Kristofferson, and Rodney Crowell.
Role Model’s “Sally, When The Wine Runs Out” is not about anyone named Sally being a role model. Instead, “Sally” seems to represent a girl the singer meets at a bar during a one-night affair.
“Better Broken” by Sarah McLachlan, is the title track of her upcoming album of the same name. The album, her tenth studio album and her first of new material in over a decade, is set to be released on September 19, 2025.
